Listen to the News in Slow Spanish!

You know when you’re just browsing through, surfing over and wandering along?

Well, that was me last week when I stumbled upon, literally, an absolutely fabulous resource for Spanish language learners and I’m convinced it will help you in your Spanish language learning.

Have you ever thought about listening to the news in Spanish, but felt the native speakers would be speaking so fast you wouldn’t be able to understand a word?

Have you ever tried to listen to the news in Spanish, but became disheartened because you really couldn’t understand a word?

Well, take heart, because I just found a great resource you can add to your language learning strategies: News in Slow Spanish: newsinslowspanish.com

[Important note: I have NO AFFILIATION with ‘News in Slow Spanish’ but I did contact them about discounted prices for my readers and students]

Would you feel really great if you listened to the news in Spanish and were able to understand at least something?

Listening to the news in another language has lots of benefits for a language learner.

Imagine how great it would be to be able to listen to conversations between native Spanish speakers in slow Spanish, and then be able to listen again, with the transcript of the conversation at hand.

Then imagine being able to access news in slow Spanish and then be able to have the transcript, for a whole six months or even a year.

I couldn’t resist showing you the fees for a regular subscription to News in Slow Spanish.

 6 MONTHS            1 YEAR

SILVER                $89.90                 $149.90

GOLD                  $99.90                 $159.90

After a few more minutes I realised that News in Slow Spanish offers discounts for groups of students. The more students who sign up as a block group, the greater the discount will be.can benefit from big discounts.

Example: You sign up individually for one year to Silver Level = $89.90 as you can see from the table above.

But if 3 students sign up together the cost drops massively= $43.87  (Discount: 51.21% ) The more students who sign up ‘in block’, the greater the discount offered by News in Slow Spanish.

I contacted them straightaway to ask how I could get the discount to apply to my readers if anyone of them showed interest in this fantastic resource.

So here’s the deal:

If I can interest 3 or more of my readers in the benefits of News in Slow Spanish, she will send me a Discount Voucher number that  I would then pass on privately to my readers. Each reader can then sign up individually for the programme, using the Discount Voucher number and enjoy the discounted price.

If you are interested in this great offer, all you need to do is sign up to my page, in the subscription box on the lower right of my posts, and leave in the comment section which programme you would be interested in.

There are two levels of language in News in Slow Spanish: Silver or Gold. There are 2  choices of duration of your subscription: 6 months or one year. You choose either Silver/Gold and 6 months/one year.

So if you think that listening to slow Spanish will help you in your Spanish journey, sign up to my site, and let me know in the comments below if you would be interested in Silver or Gold level and if you’d like to register for 6 months or one year.

It’s as simple as that.

I really hope this helps.

[Important note: I have NO AFFILIATION with ‘News in Slow Spanish’ but I did contact them about discounted prices for my readers and students.  I just think that it’s a great resource for my students and hopefully for some of my readers!]
